Dr C I (Kip) Homewood

Kip completed his Bachelor of Dental Science degree from the University of Melbourne in 1978. He then completed a Doctor of Dental Science in Canada in 1983. Following this he practiced general dentistry for 20 years before returning to complete a Masters in Dental Science degree specialising in orthodontics. He has been an orthodontist since 2000. Kip is a widely respected lecturer at local, national and international level and an honorary fellow at the University of Melbourne. Kip is an examiner for the University of Melbourne at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons and the Australian Dental Course. He is a Member of the Royal Australian College of Dental Surgeons and the Pierre Fauchard Academy.

Kip’s hobbies include swimming, cycling, skiing, golf, tennis, and of course spending as much time as possible with his family. Kip has been married to his wife, Leah, since 1987, and has three children, Matt, Laura and Renee. The household is filled with three dogs, Bartholomew, Cody and Nala, and two cats, Gucci and Dior.

Kip has an intense passion for his work. He loves orthodontics and the results achieved from treatment. He is always happy to see how pleased his patient’s and their families are with the results and how treatment can improve a patient’s confidence. You’ll be comfortable with his easy-going nature and sense of humor. He’ll treat you like a member of his family and your children as if they were his own.

 

 

THERESIA WEBPAGE

Dr Theresia Sudjalim

Theresia joined South East Orthodontics in 2006 after practicing general dentistry for 8 years. She completed her Bachelor of Dental Science degree from the University of Melbourne in 1988 and then completed her Fellowship at the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons where she was awarded the Kenneth J.G. Sutherland prize in 2004. Theresia completed a Doctor of Clinical Dentistry degree specialising in orthodontics from the University of Melbourne in 2007 and was awarded the Dean’s Medal from the Royal College of Dental Surgeons, Edinburgh. Theresia is a clinical demonstrator at the University of Melbourne.

Theresia enjoys travelling, hiking, skiing and gastronomy. Theresia is married to Nigel; together they have a daughter, Ava, who is quickly learning how to rule the family. The home is also occupied by Zoe, a two year old Maltese Shih-Tzu who takes on the role as Ava’s big sister.

Theresia became interested in orthodontics after having braces as a teenager. She believes orthodontics can be life-changing and often has long-term, positive effects which lasts years after treatment has been completed. Theresia find orthodontics a rewarding and highly satisfying career, and enjoys working with a great team of clinicians and support staff who are all dedicated to the profession.

 

 

DAVID WEBPAGE

Dr David Mastroianni

David is the newest orthodontist to join South East Orthodontics team. David completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Sydney, with Honours, in 2003. He attained his Doctor of Clinical Dentistry degree, specialising in orthodontics from the University of Melbourne in 2009. David is a member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons, Edinburgh.

David’s hobbies include skiing, soccer, motorsports and cooking. David’s dog, Cleo, an Italian Greyhound, has him wrapped around his paw.

David developed an interest in orthodontics through a desire to improve smiles. He is always pleased with the changes that orthodontics makes not only to a person’s smile, but to their level of confidence, self esteem
and life.
