Elastics
When the teeth are aligned and in good position, elastics are often used to coordinate the upper and lower arches and to bring the bite together so the teeth interdigitate nicely.
Elastics can be worn in a number of different positions and you may be given different shape and sized elastics throughout treatment.
Elastics need to be worn for the amount of time specified by the orthodontist to achieve the best results.
It is your responsibility to wear these elastics and ensure the best result is achieved.

Class II Corrector Springs
Forsus Springs/Class II corrector springs can be used to aid correction of a Class II malocclusion. These springs remain attached to the upper and lower braces for a period of time and can be an alternative treatment option to having teeth removed or to achieve greater Class II correction than what is possible from wearing elastics alone.
